The Exalt Project is a fundraising project supporting my part in planting Gospel Grace Church in Salt Lake City, Utah. Gospel Grace Church is the first church plant of Plant4theGospel, a church planting organization that promotes the creation of healthy churches in strategic metropolitan areas. The pastors and their families, and several others, are moving to Salt Lake City this fall when I will be there for six weeks with the Galkin Evangelistic Team serving the church by helping with whatever needs to be done. After that, I’ll continue traveling with the Galkin Team until May of 2013. At that point, I intend to stop traveling and move to Salt Lake City to help with the church plant.
As you can imagine, there are going to be many costs involved in moving to SLC and helping the plant, so I decided to do a fundraiser to help support my part in the ministry. One thing led to another and I ended up self-producing a new worship album entitled Exalt. Now, after a lot of work and even more help, it’s finally done!
Exalt is the product of a group of friends who gathered in the recording studio to worship. We prayed, encouraged each other in the Word and sang songs focusing on our Savior. As we prayed, we asked that God would use Exalt to teach, challenge and encourage all who listen to it.
Would you consider supporting the cause of the gospel in Salt Lake City by praying for Gospel Grace Church? And would consider giving to help support my part in this mission? As a way of saying “Thanks,” I’d like to give you my new worship album. Just click here to donate and either download the album or receive a CD sent to your address.
Thank you for visiting ExaltWorship.org and for considering supporting my part in the ministry of Gospel Grace Church! May God bless you in your life of service to Him!

I am of all men blessed to have so many dear friends that have helped
with the recording of Exalt. Many gave several evenings to come and
sing in the studio. Others came over to my house to record vocal solos
or to give advice on the mix. Joey Hoelscher was a great help in
planning the project and figuring out the best way to go about the
recording. He was also “the man behind the glass” in the studio,
giving advice throughout the process. Paul Keew helped by writing and
recording string parts on several tracts. Matthew Steel was the audio
engineer at the studio and was a great help in the recording, mixing
and editing process. Josh Clum was so kind to build the website and
Laura Kennedy did the video. The friend who has given the most time
and help throughout the entire production process is Brad Joiner. He
flew down to Greenville from Detroit, recorded all the guitar parts
and taught me so much about how to mix and edit the recording. God
knew I would need Brad for this project and I don’t know how I could
have done it without him. Lastly, a special thanks goes to my parents.
Their support and prayers throughout the process have been huge
encouragement and I am so blessed to have them in my life.
